Across ten years the uplift ranged up to +16%. We build the whole case on the +10% floor — the least it did — so the number you plan around is the conservative one, not the best day.

What we measured — and what we don't claim

We claim the milk. We show you the rest as what the biology predicts.

The milk difference above is measured directly — matched test and control cows, same farms, same rations, same operators. That is the one number we put our name to.

The wider gains — condition held, fewer cows tipped into disease, back in calf sooner, fewer early culls — follow the same biology laid out on the Biology and Cost pages. They are associated outcomes of higher intake, not separately measured in these trials. So we lead with the milk, and we let the biology speak for the rest — clearly labelled, never overstated.

How it was measured

Real barns, matched cows, ten years running.

Not a lab result. The milk difference was measured on working commercial dairies — the same cows split device and no-device — and repeated across a decade.

The line that never shows on the milk sheet

The cow you cull never shows you what she had.

A hard transition doesn't only cost this lactation. For the cows that don't recover — or don't get back in calf — it ends a career before her genetics ever pay out. You bred her, reared her and waited two years for her; a rough three weeks can close the account before she opens it. Every fresh cow carried through the window is a cow that gets to express what you selected her for. The milk uplift is what we measure. The cows still in the herd to make it are the rest of the story.
